What is brandING?

You may have overheard your friends say they're "rebranding" but you're sitting there nodding your head while quietly setting a reminder for yourself to google, 'what is branding?' later. I'll let you in on a not-so-little secret...it's not just a new logo and website. It's much deeper than that. A good brand is a blend of strategic marketing, design, well-communicated business values, and the voice used to reach your audience with your message and/or product. "Branding" is simply doing those things together, intentionally, and digging deeper into the core of your business to be able to effectively communicate your brand.

HOW BRANDING WORKS

The process of working together should be simple, straight-forward, and a collaborative effort. It's important to me that we are on the same page from beginning to end, and that's why I want you to be aware of the process of working with me from the very start.

1. EMAIL

Email me using the form below or directly to theweekendtype (at) gmail.com. I'll send over the passwords for you to view the branding options.

2. QUESTIONNAIRE

Fill out the branding questionnaire, so I can get a better look at your current brand to start a discussion how we will move forward.

3. MOOD BOARD

A mood board will be created as our jumping off point to begin creating your branding elements and logo. This will occur after we dig through your questionnaire together.

4. INITIAL LOGO CONCEPTS

Initial logo concept sketches will be sent to you to decide which one you'd like to see fleshed out and move forward with.

5. DISCUSS

At this junction, we will set up a time to discuss the best logo that fits your vision to move forward with, and address any alterations you'd like to see made.

6. FINALIZE

Time to finalize your chosen logo and create a coordinating submark. The color palette will be refined and completed at this point as well.

7. CREATE

I will flesh out your brand by creating the brand style guide, brand pattern, and additional item(s) from your branding package.

8. CELEBRATE!

You've made it through a successful rebrand of your business! Now you can move forward doing what you love to do, knowing your brand identity is all set to represent you beautifully! Cheers!
